Is that a typo in the name?

LetsWrappIt explanation graphic

Why the double 'p'? — Spoiler: it's not a typo, it's a tribute to apps.

App centric thinking took off in 2008, when Apple’s marketing team coined the now-iconic slogan: “There’s an app for that” — a catchphrase echoed by Steve Jobs and adopted industry-wide.

Here's a throwback to Apple's 2009 App Store ad:

“Need to check snow conditions on the mountain? There’s an app for that.
Need to check how many calories are in your lunch? There’s an app for that.
Need a flight update while you’re at the airport? Yep, there’s an app for that too.”

That mindset instantly resonated with us. Whenever a new challenge came our way, we’d dive in and craft a custom app to solve it. The ‘app’ served as the container — the wrapper — for the solution. This worked even if it wasn’t literally a mobile app; it could just as easily have been a desktop tool, an API, or something entirely different.

So yes — “to wrap” is spelled with one ‘p’. We added the second ‘p’ as a playful nod to the “There’s an app for that” era.

And that’s how the name Let’s Wrapp It came to be.
